Cleaning leather upholstery is a process done by hand. The method of using creams and conditioners will restore the natural oils and stop the leather from drying out which can cause cracks. We only use the best cleaners that are suitable for all leather sofas, chairs and cushions. All backs, sides and fronts are carefully cleaned and left fully dry ready for use.

The typical time to complete a standard 3 seater leather sofa is usually 2/3 hours depending on the condition.

There is no need to dismantle the upholstery or remove it from the room it’s in, we cover all surrounding areas with protective floor coverings and work around the piece usually starting from the back.

To make sure the leather is safe to clean we will test and assess it first as we do with all upholstery. Then a thorough vacuum prior to starting is done. This removes any surface debris and dust that may be trapped down the sides or under the cushions.

Although leather furniture is well known for being tough and durable they do absorb moisture very well. Natural hair oils and sweat from your body can naturally discolour the look and cause soiling to occur, especially on the arms and headrest cushions.

Once cleaned and the leather is restored, it will smell fresher and feel softer.
