We use a deep cleaning extraction machine with products formulated for upholstery cleaning. We will treat and clean those stubborn food stains, drink spillages and general wear and tear.

When we first inspect a piece of furniture there is a test we need to do in order to make sure it’s safe to be cleaned. Some colours can run when wet so in order not to cause any damage we will need to do what’s called a “Dye Bleed Test” this tells us which method can be used, and if after testing the upholstery it requires a “Dry Clean” only method we can offer that as well.

We also clean leather upholstery so if you have a leather sofa or some leather dining chairs we can clean those too. For more information click here

FAQ

Q: Do i need to remove the furniture?

A: We don’t expect any furniture to be removed, however moving light items that are nearby does save time. We can move and return everything back once the upholstery is cleaned.

Q: Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?

A: Not necessary or required, we will clear the area of surface items and vacuum before we start.

Q: How soon can I sit on the sofa after its cleaned?

A: After cleaning the upholstery it will need a few hours drying time. All cushions will be stacked upright so maximum airflow is enhanced. We also carry air movers in our vans to help speed up the drying process.

Q: How long does it take to clean a standard 3 seater sofa?

A: Generally speaking it takes 2 to 3 hours max to clean a standard 3 seat fabric sofa with mild spots and stains.

Q: Will a specific stain be removed fully?

A: Unfortunately we can never guarantee that any stain will be successfully removed, it all depends on what the stain is and how long it has been there. Also has any previous attempts been made to remove that stain, if so what has been used and has it made it worse. We can however treat that area with professional stain removers specific to that type of stain. Using years of knowledge and the best products in the business we will try everything to remove it.

Q: Is there any stain blocker we can apply after its been cleaned?

A: Yes we can apply whats called “Fabric Protector” to most upholstery. This is sprayed on post clean to help against further spillages. This will not change the look or feel of the upholstery, but seals the top of the fibres in a protective layer to stop liquids from soaking in.
